2023 marked the beginning of an exciting new chapter for Bremont. Backed by a £48.4 million investment from American billionaire Bill Ackman, the brand gained the resources to evolve into the true legacy watchmaker that founders Nick and Giles English always envisioned.
This investment paved the way for new leadership. Under CEO Davide Cerrato, a respected figure in the watch world, Bremont has been reimagined for the future.
At Watches & Wonders 2024, Bremont unveiled its fresh identity, complete with a redesigned logo and typography alongside two new collections that balance innovation with tradition. The Supermarine range has been redefined for diving enthusiasts, while the all-new Terra Nova collection brings a rugged, field-watch edge to the line-up. Together, they embody Bremont’s new mantra: “Take it further.”
British Craftsmanship at Its Core
This bold new direction doesn’t mean Bremont is straying from its roots. Their commitment to British manufacturing is stronger than ever. In 2021, they opened “The Wing”, a £25 million state-of-the-art facility near Henley-on-Thames. Spanning 35,000 sq ft, it houses both component machining and assembly under one roof, an impressive milestone in British watchmaking, with the capacity to produce up to 50,000 timepieces annually.
