REIMAGINING TIME DISPLAY
Limited edition of 999 pieces
Bell & Ross reaches new heights with its latest BR-03 Astro, a watch evocative of the cosmic universe. By placing Earth at its centre, surrounded by the Moon and Mars, Bell & Ross pays homage to the blue planet and offers a fresh perspective on its watchmaking expertise.

The mission of the small satellite is simple and precise: to mark the seconds by completing a full orbit around the Earth in 60 seconds. The Moon indicates the minutes, while Mars slowly follows its orbit to display the passing hours.

The plate is made from blue aventurine representing space. Blue Aventurine is a type of gemstone that belongs to the quartz family, it exhibits a shimmering or glistening effect due to the presence of mineral inclusions within the stone, a phenomenon called aventurescence.
Mars is rendered on a transparent plate on which a representation of Mars is drawn, the moon minute hand is laser-engraved on metal to show its craters, and the second hand – the satellite is also in laser-engraved metal. The Earth in the centre is recessed into the sapphire.
The magic of this watch lies in its display—not as a technical interpretation of an instrument watch but, for once, in an imaginative dimension,” explains Bruno Belamich, Creative Director and Co-Founder of Bell & Ross. Conceptual in spirit, the BR-03 Astro is also highly technical in execution.

With the Earth, Moon and Mars travelling across its dial, this watch embodies the spirit of space exploration. Whether you are looking at stars through a telescope or contemplating the mysteries of the universe, this timepiece connects you to the marvels of the cosmos.
