Returns Policy

In-store:

Gifts bought in-store: In the unlikely event that a gift purchased at Galio isn’t quite right we will exchange the item or issue a credit note to the value of that item as long as it is returned within a period of 30 days and has not been worn.

This does not affect your statutory rights.

If you purchase an item for yourself in-store then change your mind, we may at our discretion offer an exchange as long as the item has not been worn. 

Online:

Anything purchased online may be returned for a full refund or exchange within 14 days of purchase. Please contact us immediately by email if you are not happy with an item you have purchased online.

Cancellations:

Any goods that have been specially commissioned, customised or personalised to order cannot be returned.

You are responsible for arranging and paying for the return using a service that allows for the item to be tracked and insured in transit.

Items should be returned unworn in their original packaging. Your refund will be generated once the item is returned and checked.

Galio reserves the right to charge a refurbishment fee if the item shows evidence of wear.

The contract between us:

We must receive payment for the whole price of the goods before we can accept your order.

 

Once we have received your payment, we will confirm your order via the email you have provided us. However this is not an Order Acceptance from Galio. Acceptance only takes place on the dispatch of the products you have ordered.

 

Unless we notify you that we do not accept your order, or you have cancelled your order in accordance with our online cancellation policy above, our acceptance of your order brings into existence a legally binding contract between us.

 

Cancellation by us:

We reserve the right to cancel the contract between you and us if:

We are unable to obtain authorisation for payment.

We do not deliver to your area.

We have insufficient stock to deliver the goods you have ordered, or they do not satisfy our quality control standards.


If one or more of the items you ordered was listed at an incorrect price due to human or typographical error, or an error in the pricing information received from our suppliers.

 

If we cancel your contract we will notify you by email or by telephone, and will re-credit your account with any sum deducted by us from your credit card within 14 days of your order. We will not be obliged to offer additional compensation for disappointment suffered.

In-store Deposits

All deposits placed against orders or bespoke commissions are non-refundable, a credit note may be issued at the management’s discretion.

Items that develop faults

Goods purchased at Galio are guaranteed for two years against manufacturing defects. Branded items are covered in accordance to the manufacturer’s warranty.

 

If an item develops a fault in this time, it will be repaired or replaced as quickly as possible.

By law you are entitled to a refund if an item develops a fault in the first 30 days of ownership, because of the nature of the product we would always prefer to replace or repair the item for you. If you're outside the 30-day right to reject, we would always repair or replace any faulty goods. 

 

This does not cover damage caused by inappropriate treatment of goods – inappropriate signs of wear. violent shock, obvious knocks or drops.

Galio is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Should we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified when using this website, then you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement.

 

Galio may change this policy from time to time by updating this page. You should check this page from time to time to ensure that you are happy with any changes. This policy is effective from May 2018.
